We use the categories above to: operate the unified auction and serve advertising; frequency-cap and measure campaigns, including viewability and attribution; detect invalid traffic and fraud; provide accounts, support and reporting; communicate about the Services; process payments and comply with tax and accounting law; secure our systems; and improve and model platform performance. We do not use personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising except as described under Disclosure, sale and sharing, and we never use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.

We disclose personal information to service providers and contractors bound by CCPA-compliant contracts, to professional advisers, in connection with corporate transactions, and to law enforcement where legally required. Where WireAds tags run on publisher inventory with consent permitting personalised advertising, we may share identifiers and related data with advertising partners for cross-context behavioural advertising, which the CCPA treats as "sharing" — the core function of the auction. You can opt out as described below. We do not sell or share personal information of consumers we know are under 16 without affirmative authorisation, and our services are not directed to minors.

We retain each category for the periods described in the Privacy Policy — generally up to 24 months for business records, up to 13 months for ad-serving data, and up to 7 years for financial records — and disclose the specific periods upon request as required by the CCPA.

Right to know: the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, the sources, the business purposes and the third parties involved. Right to delete: ask us to delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions. Right to correct: fix inaccurate personal information. Right to opt out of sale or sharing: stop the disclosure of your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. Right to limit: restrict the use of sensitive personal information, where applicable — for account credentials we use them only as permitted by law, so this right does not arise in practice. Right to non-discrimination: we will not deny services, charge different prices or provide a different quality of service because you exercised any CCPA right.

Email privacy@wireads.com with your request; include enough detail for us to identify you and the data involved. We verify requests by matching the information you provide against our records and may ask for additional confirmation for access or deletion. We respond within 45 days, extendable once by another 45 days with notice. You may use an authorised agent with written permission or a valid power of attorney; we may still require you to verify your identity directly. If we deny a request, we explain why and how to appeal.

We honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a valid opt-out of sale or sharing for the browser sending the signal. Where a publisher passes the CCPA "Limit Use of My Sensitive Personal Information" or applicable opt-out signals through its consent or preference tooling, we treat them accordingly for the inventory we serve. You can also opt out at any time by emailing privacy@wireads.com.
